Paula Smith is senior vice president of Product Strategy and Development – Retirement and College Savings at Voya Investment Management, responsible for leading, developing and executing the defined contribution, investment-only and 529 college savings product strategy as well as managing the day-to-day relationships with Voya’s 529 state partners. Previously at Voya, Paula was responsible for strategy and business development for DC and college savings. Prior to joining Voya, Paula was head of retirement at Columbia Management and its predecessor company, J. & W. Seligman Co. where she was responsible for all aspects of the retirement, college savings and variable annuity effort. Prior to that, she was an associate in the defined contribution group at Sanford C. Bernstein. Paula earned an MBA in marketing from Fordham University and a BA in English from the State University of New York at Binghamton. Paula holds FINRA Series 7, 24, 63 and 51 registrations.
